The Ardrossan Soccer Club registers nearly 500 players for the outdoor season each spring.  With player’s ages ranging from 4 to 18 years, the club offers introductory level soccer in the U6 and U8 age groups, mixed.  Competition picks up in the U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups in house league. At this age the teams are primarily now boys and girls teams.  Competitive soccer is offered in Tier soccer with all players, boys and girls, having the option to try out for teams that play against teams from the Edmonton area.

The Ardrossan Soccer Club registers nearly 100 players for the indoor season each winter.  House league is played at the new Millennium Place recreation centre in Sherwood Park. In 2008 we are opening the age groups for the indoor season to U6 - U8 mixed and U10 to U18 boys and girls teams. Teams registered in Tier soccer usually play against teams within the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association at indoor soccer centres in Edmonton.

It is a proud moment for everyone involved with Ardrossan Soccer when our teams qualify for Provincial play.  We are even more proud when our teams bring home Provincial medals.

To say we are proud of all of our players, our kids, is an understatement. But we are also proud of the commitment of all the coaches, managers, age group coordinators, registration committee members, equipment coordinators, each and every one, a volunteer. Without the support of volunteers, the club would soon dissolve.

It is important to know that Ardrossan Soccer is always in need of volunteers.  Sign up to help; as a coach, or co-coach, as a manager, help an age group coordinator with organizing the teams, or just as a volunteer, someone will call if help is needed. A few hours helping out is always appreciated.
 

When you come to sign up your child to play soccer, remember, the person who is helping you complete your registration form is there as a volunteer. When that person is willing to spend a few hours of their time helping the club, they are actually helping the community.

It is this community spirit the Ardrossan Soccer Club wishes to recognize and promote with a new motto for the club, “Ardrossan Pride”.

Our coaches know what Ardrossan Pride can do and they use it as inspiration to get their players to play well, play hard, play smart, and play as a team.

Make sure to come out and watch your kids play.  Bring your friends and family, get to know the other parents, cheer loud, and be supportive of all the players, they can hear you.

Be good sports, regardless of the outcome of the game.

Don't hassle the Referee.  The Ardrossan Soccer Club does not condone any abuse of the game officials.

Let the teams play the game, and please remember, it is just a game.
